Senior Learning Disability Practitioner for London Borough

We are seeking an experienced Senior Learning Disability Practitioner to join our team at the London Borough of Camden.
Company Overview: The London Borough of Camden is committed to delivering exceptional social care services to its residents. As a Senior Learning Disability Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities to live safe and independent lives.
Salary: £42,000 - £48,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Job Description:
- Supporting Individuals with Learning Disabilities: You will provide support to individuals with learning disabilities, enabling them to live safe and independent lives.
- Completing Reviews and Assessments: You will complete regular reviews and assessments to ensure that individuals are receiving the best possible support and care.
- Working alongside other Agencies: You will work closely with other agencies, including healthcare professionals and local authorities, to ensure seamless support for service users.
- Ensuring Protection of Vulnerable Adults: You will ensure that vulnerable adults are protected from harm and abuse, and that their rights are respected.
- Promoting Service Users' Choices, Control, and Independence: You will promote service users' choices, control, and independence, enabling them to make informed decisions about their lives.
Minimum Requirements:
- Post Qualifying Experience: 3 years post qualifying experience working as a Learning Disability Practitioner within the UK Social Care industry.
- HCPC Registration: HCPC registration is essential for this role.
- Eligibility to Work in the UK: Eligibility to work in the UK is required.
- Enhanced DBS/CRB: An enhanced DBS/CRB check will be required.
