About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Adults Mental Health Team in Lancashire. As a Senior Social Worker, you will play a key role in providing high-quality assessments, reviews, and support plans for individuals with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide duty Approved Mental Health Professional Service for Lancashire residents who require assessment under the Mental Health Act 1983.
  • Contribute to service delivery that is person-centred and outcome-focused with an emphasis on least restrictive principles and enabling recovery.
  • Liaise with others involved in the service users' / carers' care to support decision-making in future needs, such as the provision of ongoing effective support; contribute to information gathering regarding safeguarding of children and adults and effective risk management, including clear decision-making and reporting on outcomes.
  • Work closely with other team members to ensure the safety of vulnerable adults under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager.
