Job Opportunity

Leonardo UK is seeking a highly skilled Data Support Analyst to join our Joint Avionics Service (JAS) team at RAF Coningsby, Lincolnshire. As a key member of our Customer Support and Services Solutions (CS3) line of business, you will play a crucial role in providing back-office operational technical support for the Typhoon Fast Jet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Retrieve, structure, and analyze operational, engineering, and logistics data to optimize spares and repairs chain performance.
  • Create and maintain interactive dashboards to facilitate data-driven decision making.
  • Collaborate with Service Delivery and Project Engineering managers to ensure seamless performance monitoring and execution.
  • Liaise with logistics, field engineers, and QA teams to ensure effective data exchange and support.
  • Work closely with our JAS Partner, BAES, to maintain a single source of truth for in-service support data.
  • Contribute to future bid activity for follow-on JAS contracts.
  • Support the wider JAS team in utilizing dashboards and data analytical techniques to drive informed decision making.
  • Interface with the CS3 Digital team to develop tools and facilitate verification processes.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to establish support strategies and conduct support modeling tasks.
Requirements
  • Degree in a relevant engineering or science discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant experience applying Supportability engineering and standards.
  • Knowledge of logistics and engineering activities required to support complex Defence or Aerospace products.
  • Experience working with Engineering Project Managers and Integrated Project Teams (IPTs).
  • Experience gathering, analyzing, and drawing insights from data to produce current and forecast projections.
  • Technical competence in creating data visualizations that provide a clear representation of complex data.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of the wider TyTAN JAS team.
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Power Apps, and Data Analysis Tools.
  • Considerable level of expertise with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and seniority levels.
  • Self-motivated with an aptitude for problem-solving and driving challenging issues to conclusion.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with an ability to influence and adapt according to changing demands.
