About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Building Fabric Engineer to join our team at GRAHAM Group. As a key member of our Facilities Management Team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional maintenance services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and complete a range of works, including planned, reactive, and remedial repairs, as directed by the GRAHAM Helpdesk.
- Work on various building fabric systems, including joinery, tiling, drainage, minor roof repairs, finishes, plastering, flooring, and other related tasks.
- Provide detailed write-ups of works carried out to ensure our clients are kept up to date at all times.
- Carry out all works within agreed timescales and to the highest standards, ensuring compliance with current regulations and contract specifications.
- Report and record procedures, including operation and maintenance logs, and control measures to minimize risks.
- Liaise closely with our Helpdesk to ensure efficient response to all works.
- Observe the highest levels of health and safety at all times, including carrying out point of work risk assessments for every task.
- Deal with a variety of clients on a daily basis, representing the Company and being courteous and professional in your dealings with them.
Requirements
- Experience in building fabric systems, including joinery, tiling, drainage, minor roof repairs, finishes, plastering, flooring, and other related tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures and protocols.
