A leading role at dnevo Partners requires an experienced Head of Parking to drive parking services for the borough. The role demands operational leadership, ensuring financial and operational efficiency, and aligning services with the borough's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead operational delivery, focusing on financial and project management to meet Council expectations.
  • Manage a large team, fostering motivation, development, and performance management to build high-performing teams.
  • Lead capital and revenue budget management, ensuring resources are optimised for cost-effectiveness and value for money.
  • Oversee service projects, including scoping, planning, and delivery within agreed schedules and budgets.
  • Lead procurement and manage contractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with contracts and maximising commercial benefits.
  • Develop and implement business plans, setting clear targets for service performance and leading interventions to address any shortfalls.
  • Ensure adherence to governance, including audit, procurement, risk management, and health & safety.
  • Champion service reform and modernization initiatives, driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Senior management experience in a high-transaction frontline service environment.
  2. A proven ability to drive performance improvements with tangible outcomes for customers.
  3. Demonstrated expertise in resource management, efficiency, and commercial skills.
  4. Experience in managing complex IT systems to support high-volume services.
  5. Proven success in managing large-scale projects, ensuring financial and service targets are met.
  6. Experience in policy development and providing strategic advice.
