Lead Ecologist for Sustainable Development

We are looking for a highly experienced Lead Ecologist to join our team and contribute to the development of sustainable projects.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of ecological principles, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading project teams working on nationally significant projects in a multi-disciplinary environment
  • Developing client relationships and managing project programmes and budgets
  • Co-ordinating ecological mitigation and authoring ecological reports

Requirements:

  • Membership of CIEEM or equivalent and chartership (CEcol or CEnv)
  • Demonstrable experience of working on Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects and familiarity with the DCO process
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to coach and mentor junior staff members

Salary: £75,000 - £100,000 per annum
