Postdoctoral Research Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Research Assistant to join our team in the School of Mathematical Sciences. The successful candidate will work with Dr. Omer Bobrowski and Dr. Primoz Skraba on a large project funded by the EPSRC, investigating the intersection of topology and deep learning.
About the ProjectThe project aims to develop stochastic topological tools to systematically analyse, interpret, and improve the performance of deep neural networks. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to collaborate with researchers at other universities in the hub and attend workshops and conferences.
About the SchoolThe School of Mathematical Sciences has a strong research presence across the spectrum of Mathematical Sciences. We are part of the Faculty of Science and Engineering, which comprises five schools and two institutes. Our student population has grown in recent years, and our research profile has strengthened considerably.
