About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Service Manager to join our team at Vetro Recruitment. As a Deputy Service Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Manager and have joint responsibility for managing the team and the service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Manager in the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Manage and develop a team of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality care.
  • Develop and implement care plans for individuals, ensuring their needs are met and they receive the best possible support.
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to ensure the service is operating safely and effectively.
  • Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • NVQ or QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care and willingness to work towards Level 3.
  • Senior Support Worker experience, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, service users, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and shifts.
  • Valid driving license and access to a vehicle, due to the nature of the role.
