Job Title: Clinical Psychology Assistant - Learning Support

Academics Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Psychology Assistant - Learning Support to join our team at a special needs school in Woking. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and academic success of our students with complex learning, social, and communication difficulties.

About the Role:
  • Provide individualized support to students with Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties, and Physical Disabilities, promoting their independence and confidence.
  • Assist students in understanding and participating in lessons, encouraging their social skills development and emotional well-being.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in team meetings to ensure a collaborative approach to student support.
  • Work closely with therapists and other support staff to provide a comprehensive support package for students.
  • Support the development of a positive and inclusive school culture, promoting the values of Academics Ltd.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications in Psychology or a related field.
  • Experience working with students with special needs, particularly Autism and Severe Learning Difficulties.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meeting the needs of students and the school.
