Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Psychology Graduate to join our team at Academics Ltd as a Clinical Psychology Support Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to gain valuable experience working with children and young people who require additional care and support.

About the Role:

As a Clinical Psychology Support Assistant, you will be working in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing assistance and support to children with complex needs, including Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties, and Physical Disabilities. Your role will involve:

  • Providing individualized support to children to help them understand and participate in tasks
  • Encouraging the development of social skills and confidence
  • Maintaining accurate records of individual student progress
  • Participating in team meetings and training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Working collaboratively with the management team to support the development of the organization
  • Ensuring compliance with safeguarding regulations

Requirements:

We are looking for a Psychology Graduate who is passionate about working with children and young people with special needs. You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team. A strong understanding of child development and learning theories is also essential.
