Learning Support Assistant

This is an exciting opportunity to join Academics Ltd as a Learning Support Assistant in a special needs school. The school provides a safe and supportive learning environment for children with complex learning, social, and communication difficulties.
About the Role:- Provide assistance and support for children before, during, and after lessons
- Assist children to understand and participate in tasks in an appropriate way
- Encourage the development of appropriate social skills
- Ensure individual student records are maintained
- Help build confidence and motivation
- Participate in team meetings and training programmes as an active member of a team
- Work with managers and employees to support the developing culture of the organisation
- Follow regulations pertaining to safeguarding
- Support individual needs, including assisting with medical and personal care tasks as necessary
The school is known for its excellent facilities and on-site equipment, including a therapy pool and sensory rooms. The team works closely with therapists to ensure the physical and emotional support of the children.
