Nursery Leadership Opportunity

About the Position:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to lead our team at Blom and Blom's nursery setting in Cambridge.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and Ofsted Standards, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care and education.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support the Nursery Manager in developing and implementing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  2. Lead by example, promoting a positive and inclusive culture within the nursery setting.
  3. Collaborate with the nursery team to design and deliver engaging and challenging educational programmes.
  4. Maintain accurate records and reports, providing timely updates to management.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a Senior Early Years Practitioner / Deputy Nursery Manager role, preferably in a private children's day nursery setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
