We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate veterinary professional to join our team as a Deputy Named Veterinary Surgeon in laboratory animal science.
Job Description:
- Assist the named veterinary surgeon in maintaining the animal care and welfare program.
- Conduct regular visits and audits of animal facilities.
- Participate in the production of SOPs and policies related to animal care and welfare.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Candidates must be qualified veterinary surgeons with a strong commitment to animal welfare and the ethical use of animals for scientific purposes. Membership or registrability with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) is also required.
Salary: The salary for this position is estimated to be around £75,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.
