Exciting Opportunity for a KS2 Teaching Assistant

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. This role will involve working with a KS2 class, providing support to both staff and students with EHCPs. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering intervention sessions, supervising playtime, and fostering a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Teacher to support lesson delivery and curriculum development
  • Assist students, especially those needing extra support and academic guidance
  • Manage and support group activities, promoting social skills and teamwork
  • Demonstrate strong curriculum knowledge and subject expertise
  • Efficaciously handle behavior management and conflict resolution
  • Promote independence, positive relationships, and a growth mindset
