Job Title: KS2 Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Primary School in Cheltenham. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the teacher with lesson delivery, assisting students with their learning, and providing additional support to those who require it.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the teacher with lesson delivery and planning
  • Assist students with their learning, particularly those who require additional support
  • Provide one-to-one support to students as needed
  • Manage behavior effectively and promote a positive learning environment
  • Build positive relationships with students, teachers, and other staff members
Requirements:
  • Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a Primary School setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students of all ages and abilities
  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
