Job Title: KS2 Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Primary School in Cheltenham. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the teacher in the KS2 class, assisting students with their learning, and promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the teacher in delivering lessons and providing additional support to students as needed
  • Assist students with their learning, particularly those who require additional support
  • Support groups of children or 1:1 support
  • Show excellent curriculum knowledge and understanding
  • Manage behavior effectively and promote a positive learning environment
  • Promote and nurture independence in students
  • Build positive working relationships with children and adults alike
