We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team at CV Library. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the technical aspects of engineering projects, ensuring all tasks align with safety and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage project scope, cost, and delivery to ensure successful project outcomes
  2. Coordinate with engineers, functional managers, and subcontractors to ensure project progress
  3. Act as the primary technical liaison with customers to interpret their requirements and ensure clear documentation
  4. Oversee the creation and maintenance of project specifications and data sheets
  5. Conduct regular design gap analysis to identify and address any issues
  6. Prepare detailed engineering design briefs and scope of work documents
  7. Handle subcontract and major component procurement to ensure timely delivery
  8. Review design outputs for compliance with project requirements
  9. Address any engineering non-conformance or change requests
  10. Participate in project reviews and present engineering elements to stakeholders
  11. Ensure adherence to safety regulations and conduct risk assessments to mitigate potential hazards
  12. Manage documentation for CE/UKCA marking to ensure compliance
Essential Qualifications:
  1. Time served Apprenticeship or NVQ L3 (or equivalent) in mechanical or electrical engineering
  2. Demonstrable experience in a similar role with a proven track record of success
  3. Knowledge of change management and process controls to ensure efficient project delivery
  4. Ability to interpret customer specifications and standards to deliver high-quality results
  5. Experience in an engineering environment with technical writing skills to create clear and concise documentation
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office to manage project data and communicate effectively
