Airfield Engineering Asset Project Manager

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team at CV Library. As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing the technical aspects of engineering projects, ensuring all tasks align with safety and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Project Management: Manage the scope, cost, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project requirements.
- Technical Liaison: Act as the primary technical liaison with customers, interpreting their requirements and ensuring clear documentation.
- Design and Development: Oversee the creation and maintenance of project specifications and data sheets, conducting regular design gap analysis and preparing detailed engineering design briefs and scope of work documents.
- Procurement and Quality: Handle subcontract and major component procurement, reviewing design outputs for compliance with project requirements and addressing any engineering non-conformance or change requests.
- Documentation and Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety regulations, conducting risk assessments and managing documentation for CE/UKCA marking.
- Qualifications: Time served Apprenticeship or NVQ L3 (or equivalent) in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Experience: Demonstrable experience in a similar role, with knowledge of change management and process controls.
- Skills: Ability to interpret customer specifications and standards, experience in an engineering environment with technical writing skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
