About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Lecturer in Occupational Therapy to join our team at the University of Northampton. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the expansion of our Occupational Therapy provision and play a key role in shaping the future of our students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with learning, teaching, and assessment on modules within Occupational Therapy, utilising a contemporary and research-informed approach.
  • Develop and deliver teaching and learning that embeds inter-professional collaboration, service user engagement, and simulation-based learning.
  • Work collaboratively with the faculty to develop teaching and learning that meets the needs of our students and the profession.
  • Provide learners with expert subject knowledge and supportive pastoral advice, as well as opportunities to engage with practice partners and clinical educators.

Requirements

  • A degree qualification or equivalent in a relevant subject.
  • Experience in Occupational Therapy education and a contemporary, research-informed approach to Occupational Therapy practice.
  • A willingness to be involved in providing supervision to dissertation students, ongoing pastoral student support, and involvement in student recruitment events.
