AR Operations Coordinator Job Description

The successful candidate for this AR Operations Coordinator role at SF Recruitment (Birmingham) in Tamworth will be responsible for managing two complex ledgers, ensuring timely and accurate customer account management. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years' experience in B2B credit control, with a strong background in managing diverse ledgers.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage two complex ledgers, maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer information.
  • Proactively resolve credit control queries and chase late payments, ensuring prompt cash flow.
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Update and maintain customer records, conducting regular credit checks and reviews.
  • Establish new customer accounts, performing comprehensive credit vetting.
  • Optimize business processes, implementing improvements to increase efficiency.
  • Liaise with internal teams to resolve customer queries, delivering exceptional service.
  • Meet critical deadlines for month-end and year-end reconciliations.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in B2B credit control.
  • Strong background in managing diverse ledgers.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant systems.
