Job Summary

This role involves providing administrative support to the Primary Care team at Whitstable Medical Practice. The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar setting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work accurately under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage referrals, bookings, and clinic administration with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Liaise with clinicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Prepare clinic rooms, maintain stock levels, and retrieve information from E-Referral systems.
  • Monitor email inboxes, manage tasks, and complete projects as assigned by the Clinical Services Manager.

About You:

  • A minimum Grade C GCSE or equivalent in English Language and Maths is required.
  • Prior experience in reception, administration, and customer service is essential.
  • You will possess strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office, and be able to communicate effectively with patients and staff.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is £11.44 - £12.20 per hour, rising to £12.20 after 6 months. This position also offers opportunities for professional growth and development within the NHS.
