About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our Homelessness Service in Westminster. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support to customers to help them develop the life skills they require to meet their assessed needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide physical, domestic, emotional, and social care to customers
  • Work with customers to promote social inclusion and independent living
  • Support vulnerable individuals to manage their tenancies and move towards greater independence
  • Develop and implement individually tailored support packages

Working Patterns:

The role involves working early shifts (7am-3pm) and late shifts (1pm-9pm), with 2.5 weekends of 7 weeks rolling rota. No night shifts are required.

Requirements:

  • Typical qualifications from none to NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent
  • Experience in the social care/charity sector (not essential)
  • Ability to cope positively with challenging and diverse behaviours
