Ackerman Pierce Ltd is seeking an experienced professional to lead the Housing Solutions Service. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership to meet the statutory requirements of the Homelessness Reduction Act and other housing legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of professionals delivering the Housing Solutions Service.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote understanding and adherence to the company's values and behaviours.
- Ensure the highest standards of ethical conduct are maintained, in line with the expectations of a local government office, and lead staff to adhere to such standards.
- Provide leadership to multi-disciplinary teams delivering homelessness advice, prevention, relief, and temporary accommodation services.
- Transform front-line housing services to meet the new housing duties outlined in the Homelessness Reduction Act and other Housing legislation and statutory instruments.
- Provide direction and management to Homelessness Teams, plan, develop, and deliver statutory duties in line with company policy and priorities.
- Lead on responses to all issues relating to front-line housing assessments, housing plans, technical/legal housing issues, integration and digitalisation of personalised front-line assessments, responses to statutory changes, and local political directives.
