Join Oakleaf Partnership in their search for a seasoned HR professional to lead the People and Wellbeing function of a dynamic and ambitious UK law firm.
About the RoleAs the Head of People and Wellbeing, you will be responsible for overseeing the HR operations and strategy, enhancing the value of HR through designing and executing HR strategies, and managing all HR functions, including compensation, benefits, payroll, training, employee relations, and recruitment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement HR strategies to drive business growth and improve employee engagement.
- Lead high-level projects on job design, reorganization, and work environments to ensure a positive and productive workplace culture.
- Oversee HR-related communications, wellbeing, and cultural initiatives to promote a healthy and inclusive work environment.
- Analyse HR data to recommend improvements and ensure policies and contracts remain up-to-date.
- Network with other HR leaders and collaborate with the HR Advisor to maintain agency relationships for top talent access.
- Act as the Culture Ambassador in recruitment, participating in senior-level interviews and partnering with headhunters for strategic recruitment.
- Lead moderation panels to ensure fair and consistent performance appraisals and advise teams on talent management processes, including promotions, career development, retention, and succession planning.
- Ensure compensation, payroll, and benefits remain competitive and aligned with industry standards.
