We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our CAMHS Team in the Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality mental health services to children and young people with complex needs.
The successful candidate will have extensive post-registration experience working with individuals who experience complex mental health needs in the community setting. You will have a strong background in assessing and managing complex needs, including risk, within a structured framework such as CPA/Safeguarding Children frameworks.
As a Specialist Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive mental health service, including assessing need, delivering safe and effective interventions, and managing complex risks. You will also provide supervision and support to other healthcare professionals, including actual and supervisory prescribing.
Main Responsibilities- Assessing the mental health needs of children and young people and delivering safe and effective interventions.
- Managing complex risks and providing supervision and support to other healthcare professionals.
- Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide a comprehensive mental health service.
