About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our East Staffordshire Integrated Mental Health Team based in Burton on Trent. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing planned recovery-focused care to our service users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with other Trust services to provide seamless care for service users in the Integrated Mental Health Teams
  • Deliver agreed therapeutic interventions to assist service users in achieving their recovery goals
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of planned therapeutic activities with identified groups of service users
  • Undertake physical health assessments, including weight, height, blood pressure, ECG, and phlebotomy

Person Specification

  • Advanced Apprenticeship in Mental Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification
  • Experience of working with people with mental health needs, non-dementia related
  • Knowledge and awareness of issues relating to mental health, access to mental health services, and mental health promotion
