About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Shaw Trust as a Senior Education Manager, responsible for the management of all aspects of delivery in our North East Sites. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of effective staff management in an education environment, with a strong focus on maximising performance and compliance of publicly funded contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the management of staff in relation to the North East Sites, ensuring they are supported to meet their full potential and delivery activity meets internal and external requirements.
  • Collaborate with the wider L&S division to ensure staff and learners are supported to meet their full potential.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve performance, audit, and quality of delivery.
  • Manage forecasting and budgeting processes to ensure effective resource allocation.
  • Provide excellent communication, presentation, organisational, and interpersonal skills to problem solve and adapt to various situations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience of effective staff management in an education environment.
  • Good knowledge of Advanced Learner Loans delivery and SLC processing.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
