Job Overview

Barts Health NHS Trust is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Neonatal Governance Lead to join our team. As a key member of our neonatal unit, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and quality care.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading investigations into significant events and serious incidents, formulating and implementing action plans, and establishing effective working relationships to promote learning and improvement. You will also utilize good leadership and management skills to drive change and prevent re-occurrence of incidents.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • 1st Level Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife
  • Post registration Qualification in Neonatology
  • Educated to First level degree (level 6 or above)
  • Significant post registration neonatal experience
  • Current NLS certification
