The college is seeking a passionate and experienced leader to join their dynamic team as an Assistant Head of Department in Construction & Building Services, specifically overseeing Multi-Skills & Trowel Trades. With a strong focus on delivering outstanding teaching and state-of-the-art facilities, the college has established a reputation for excellence in various disciplines.

As a key member of the leadership team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of the college's Construction & Building Services department. Your expertise and leadership skills will be instrumental in driving student success and achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Head of Department in managing and enhancing the curriculum across Multi-Skills & Trowel Trades areas, including Construction Multi-Skills, Property Maintenance Operations, and Bricklaying.
  • Ensure students receive a high-quality learning experience that fosters achievement and success.
  • Travel between campuses as needed.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Extensive teaching experience in a Construction-related field.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students and staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
