About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Local Business Development Manager to join our team at Inchcape Retail - Part of Group 1 Automotive. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a structured sales plan to achieve business targets and drive revenue growth
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local business customers to identify new sales opportunities
  • Collaborate with the retail sales teams to deliver an exceptional service to new and existing business customers
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity using our CRM system
  • Work closely with the Corporate Sales Manager and New Car Sales Manager to forecast sales performance and identify areas for improvement
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a sales or target-driven role, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Drive to exceed targets and achieve business objectives
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours
  • Full UK driving licence
