As a Raw Materials & Packaging Controller at The Compleat Food Group, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient procurement of raw materials and packaging materials for our production processes.

Key duties include:

  • Ensuring a safe working environment for all employees by enforcing the company's health and safety policy
  • Assisting in raising purchase orders from Material Call Off (MCO) sheets
  • Administering and checking materials with longer lead times to ensure forward orders are placed within the lead time
  • Chasing outstanding orders from suppliers
  • Assisting in resolving day-to-day issues related to raw materials and packaging
  • Highlighting any issues that may impact customer orders
  • Helping to resolve purchase ledger queries
  • Processing orders for goods inward shipping and providing accurate documentation in accordance with relevant legislation
  • Assisting in shelf-life management and reducing potential stock write-offs
  • Maintaining batch and stock location accuracy on company software
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Working knowledge of TROPOS and associated systems
  • Ability to analyze and present operational KPIs
  • Sound numerical and negotiation skills for effective communication with suppliers, transportation, and distribution businesses
  • High level of IT skills, including Microsoft Office and other relevant software
  • Energy drive and determination to succeed
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external colleagues
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Self-motivation with the ability to motivate others
