Job Summary:
The Compleat Food Group is seeking a highly skilled Site Planning Manager to join our Supply Chain Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the overall production planning for our savoury/ready meals and sweet bakery factories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective production planning strategies to optimize production run lengths and SKU stock levels.
- Produce weekly production plans for both factories, ensuring compliance with technical, food safety, and hygiene policies.
- Ensure timely delivery of raw materials and packaging for each production plan.
- Liaise with logistics and transport teams to ensure efficient distribution of customer orders.
- Monitor and report on finished stock levels, identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the new product development team to ensure successful project delivery.
- Work with the site director to deliver business capital projects, ensuring compliance with approved capex.
- Develop and maintain up-to-date job descriptions and company policies for planning staff.
Requirements:
- Manufacturing experience within an FMCG environment.
- Proven experience in managing complex production planning facilities.
- Working knowledge of TROPOS and associated systems.
- Proven ability to plan, organize, and communicate effectively.
- Good market knowledge of operational equipment suppliers.
- Knowledge of baking processes and key raw materials.
- High level of IT skills (e.g., word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
