IMC Locums is seeking a Therapy Professional for Community Care to join our team in Kent. As an Occupational Therapist, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality services to inpatients with a range of physical, mental health, or cognitive conditions.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patients' functional abilities, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions to promote recovery and independence. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to promote recovery and independence.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, and social workers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and reports.
  • Participate in discharge planning and ensure safe transitions of care.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Previous experience working in an inpatient setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
