We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated occupational therapist to join our team as a Band 5/6 senior occupational therapist. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work across different areas of the hospital, including acute medicine, frailty, amputees & surgery, community, and critical care.

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality occupational therapy assessments and interventions, prioritize and manage workload, and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve excellent patient outcomes.

You will also have opportunities for professional growth and development, including supervision of qualified staff and students, participation in research projects, and leadership skills through management of designated projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality occupational therapy assessments and interventions
  • Prioritize and manage workload, including supervising staff and students
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve excellent patient outcomes
  • Participate in research projects and leadership skills development
  • Demonstrate commitment to quality patient care, safety, and infection control

Requirements:

  • Mandatory qualifications: Occupational Therapy Qualification (Dip RCOT or BSc OT), HCPC Registration
  • Desirable criteria: Member of Professional Body (RCOT)

Estimated Salary Range: £55,000 - £70,000 per annum
