Job Description

This role involves working closely with families, schools, and other professionals to identify and address the needs of children with additional needs. As a Community Children's Occupational Therapy Professional, you will be responsible for conducting home assessments and interventions, developing strategies to promote independence, confidence, and well-being, and providing expert guidance and support to families and professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaison between Health, Social Care, Housing, and Voluntary services to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of services.
  • Duty cover for Children's OT as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Represent the service at community meetings, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders and promoting the organization's values.
  • Deputise for Advanced Practitioner Children's OT, taking on additional responsibilities and contributing to the growth and development of the team.
