About the Role:

Fawkes and Reece is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team and lead our major highways project in South Hampshire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the timely delivery of the project, ensuring that it is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop and implement project plans, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Resource Management: Manage and coordinate the resources required to deliver the project, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and environmental sustainability.
  • Stakeholder Management: Liaise with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies, to ensure that their needs are met and that the project is delivered on time and within budget.
  • Reporting: Provide regular progress reports to the Senior Project Manager, highlighting any issues or concerns that may impact the project.
  • Health, Safety, and Environmental Management: Ensure that all health, safety, and environmental procedures are implemented and maintained throughout the project.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: NVQ L6/7 in Construction Management and/or HND/HNC in Civil Engineering (desirable).
  • Experience: Strong project management background on civil engineering projects, specifically highways and infrastructure.
  • Skills: Excellent supervision and organisational skills, with the ability to manage relationships with stakeholders and members of the public.
  • Certifications: SMSTS, Safety critical medical, Civil 6-point PPE.
