Collections Team Lead - Financial Health

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Collections Team Lead to join our team at Amplifi Capital. As a key member of our Collections team, you will play a vital role in driving customer satisfaction and financial health through effective collections management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Motivate the Team: Provide coaching, guidance, and support to team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Customer Focus: Foster a customer-centric approach within the team, prioritizing empathy and effective communication to resolve complex issues and drive positive customer outcomes.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the team adheres to relevant financial regulations, such as the Consumer Duty and Treating Customers Fairly.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize collections processes, reducing abandoned contacts and missed opportunities.
  • Performance Management: Monitor team performance, setting realistic targets that balance productivity and customer care, and prioritize employee wellbeing by recognizing signs of burnout and offering resources to manage stress.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a collections environment, preferably in financial services or fintech.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Sound working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and experience in task/process-based evaluation.
  • Good working knowledge of relevant regulatory bodies, such as the FCA and PRA.
