About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Safety Manager, Toxicologist to lead our safety team and ensure the safe development and launch of our cosmetic products. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for assessing the safety of our products throughout their lifecycle, from innovation to market launch.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the safety team in assessing the safety of our products during innovation and new product development (NPD)
  • Develop and maintain safety frameworks that support both in-house and supplier development routes
  • Conduct additional assessments where novel ingredients, products, or safety signals require
  • Translate scientific insights into consumer-relevant product improvements
  • Represent the company on expert committees and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Requirements:
  • Higher qualification in one of the following disciplines: Pharmacy, Toxicology, Medicine, Dermatology
  • At least 5 years' experience of safety assessment in FMCG, the chemistry industry, with cosmetics experience being an advantage
  • Outstanding technical capabilities and ability to represent the company externally within scientific committees
  • Strong business partner skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
