About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Safety Manager, Toxicologist to lead our safety team and ensure the development of safe and effective products for our customers. As a key member of our Product Integrity team, you will be responsible for assessing the safety of our products throughout their lifecycle, from innovation to market launch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the safety team in assessing the safety of products during innovation and new product development
  • Develop and maintain safety frameworks to support in-house and supplier development routes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Research & Development, Formulation, Brand, Claims, Regulatory, Quality, Global Sourcing, and Legal
  • Represent No7 Beauty Company on expert committees and drive competitive advantage through the application of safety expertise
  • Train technical and commercial teams on basic safety knowledge to ensure awareness of the importance of safety for customer protection
Requirements
  • Qualifications and experience that meet the regulatory requirements for a Safety Assessor
  • Higher qualification in one of the following disciplines: Pharmacy, Toxicology, Medicine, Dermatology
  • At least 5 years' experience of safety assessment in FMCG, the chemistry industry, with cosmetics experience being an advantage
  • Outstanding technical capabilities and able to represent No7 Beauty Company externally within scientific committees
  • Strong business partner cross-functionally within the business
