Geotechnical Engineer Opportunity

RSK Group is seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Goudhurst, UK. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a challenging and rewarding career path.

As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of geo-environmental and geotechnical projects. You will be responsible for designing and managing ground investigation projects, providing technical support, and overseeing ground investigations. You will also be involved in soil and rock logging, geotechnical analysis, and design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and manage ground investigation projects for external clients and internal teams
  • Provide technical support and control project costs
  • Oversee ground investigations and soil and rock logging
  • Conduct geotechnical analysis and design
Requirements:
  • BEng or BSc in Civil, Geology, or Geotechnical Engineering or similar
  • Desirable: further degree in Engineering Geology, Geotechnics, or Environmental Science
  • Registered with a professional body and working towards Chartered status
  • Typically 5 years of relevant experience
  • Good understanding of geology, ground investigation, engineering geology, and geotechnical engineering
