Community Paediatrician Position in Ealing

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Paediatrician to join our team in Ealing Community Paediatrics. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children and families in our community.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in general Child Development Team clinics in various locations across the borough, including developmental assessments, cerebral palsy management, and management of other genetic conditions.
- Contribute to the Social Communication and Autism (SoCA) assessment service, including assessment for ASD and ADHD, as well as long-term management for ADHD.
- Participate in Education and Health Care assessments and contribute to the department's child protection work, including supervision of middle-grade staff and direct delivery of service when required.
- Provide educational and clinical supervision to departmental trainees and may be required to act in a supervisory manner to other non-consultant grades in areas not covered by these job plans.
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and experience:
- MRCP, MRCPCH by examination or equivalent
- Full GMC registration
- On the GMC specialist register or within 6 months of CCT or CESR-CP in Paediatrics
- Experience of working with multi-disciplinary teams within community settings
- Has achieved the competencies relating to General Paediatric Training
- 5 years Higher Specialist Training, including 3 years in Community Paediatrics
- Training and experience in identification and management of suspected child abuse
- Completed minimum Level 3 Child Protection training within the last 3 years
