Job Title: Community Paediatrician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Paediatrician to join our team at NELFT NHS Foundation Trust. As a Community Paediatrician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to babies, children, and young people in the Redbridge area.

About the Role

This is a substantive, full-time post that requires a strong commitment to delivering excellent patient care. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing senior medical support and guidance to the team. You will also work directly with babies, children, and young people, and their families, and liaise as appropriate with other external health providers and acute hospitals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team
  • Work directly with babies, children, and young people, and their families
  • Liaise with other external health providers and acute hospitals
  • Participate in the local Child Protection rota
  • Support your peers and team leader
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practice
  • CCT or equivalent
  • Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST
  • At least 2 years' experience in Community Child Health
