About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Community Paediatrician to join our dynamic team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Child Development Service, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children and families in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in general Child Development Team clinics, conducting developmental assessments, cerebral palsy management, and other specialist clinics.
  • Contribute to the Social Communication and Autism (SoCA) assessment service, including assessments for ASD and ADHD.
  • Participate in Education and Health Care assessments and provide educational and clinical supervision to departmental trainees.
  • Supervise and produce reports, and attend case conferences as required.
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • MRCP, MRCPCH by examination or equivalent, and full GMC registration.
  • Experience of working with multi-disciplinary teams within community settings and achieving competencies relating to General Paediatric Training.
  • 5 years Higher Specialist Training, including 3 years in Community Paediatrics, and training and experience in identification and management of suspected child abuse.
