Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Social Care Professional to join our team as a Children & Families Social Worker. This role will involve working with children in need, their families, and professionals to provide support and guidance.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking assessments under Section 17 and Section 47 of the Children Act. They will work closely with colleagues to develop and implement plans that meet the needs of children and families. The role will also involve attending court proceedings and working with voluntary agencies to provide additional support.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Undertake comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify their needs and develop effective plans.
  2. Work collaboratively with colleagues and professionals to deliver high-quality services that meet the needs of children and families.
  3. Attend court proceedings and provide evidence to support the well-being of children.
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with families, schools, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  1. HPC Registration.
  2. At least 1-2 years post-qualification experience within the UK social care industry.
  3. An enhanced DBS/CRB check (we can assist with obtaining this).
  4. Eligibility to work in the UK.
