Job Title: Controller for Growth and Scale

Estimated Salary: £80,000 - £120,000 per annum

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Controller for Growth and Scale to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK. As a key member of our Finance Operations Business Partnering team, you will be responsible for driving financial improvement, scalability, and process excellence across our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement financial and operational analyses to drive global growth and scale, using data to inform senior leadership decisions.
  2. Partner with upstream business and technology teams to develop and deliver continuous system and process change, ensuring process excellence and highest levels of controllership.
  3. Define key performance indicators and develop metrics and service level agreements for core programs and processes, tracking delivery against program objectives.
  4. Negotiate efficient and reliable processes and policies across partner teams to systematically eliminate dependencies and defects.
  5. Identify and quantify financial and operational risks and opportunities, driving ad-hoc projects as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science).
  • Experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field, with experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses.
  • Experience participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results.
  • Experience building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making.
