About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Complex Needs Practitioner to join our team at The Richmond Fellowship Scotland Careers. As a key member of our community support team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Support - Assist individuals to engage with their communities by planning and attending outings to various leisure activities, such as day centres, cinema, swimming, and other community-based events.
- Personal Care - Assist people to maintain their wellbeing by promoting their personal care, which would include assistance with bathing, dressing, arranging visits with healthcare professionals, and incontinence care.
- Support Planning - Work collaboratively with individuals, their families, and other professionals to develop and implement personalized support plans that meet their unique needs and goals.
- Crisis Intervention - Provide emotional support and crisis intervention services to individuals experiencing mental health crises or other challenging situations.
Requirements
- A valid driving licence is required due to the nature of the role.
- Mileage is paid at 45p per mile.
- Previous experience in care is not necessary, as we provide full training and support to our team members.
