Teaching Assistant for SEN Students

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teach Now. As a Teaching Assistant for SEN students, you will play a vital role in supporting our teachers in providing a safe and inclusive learning environment for students with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons tailored to the needs of SEN students
  • Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development
  • Help maintain a well-structured and organized classroom environment, ensuring a smooth learning experience for all students
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement strategies to support students with SEN
  • Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with special educational needs
  • Understanding of how to create a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Ability to commit to the hours of 8.30 to 3.30
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to changing circumstances
