Construction Compliance Officer

As a senior building assurance technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that construction projects meet the required standards and regulations. This role involves working closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities- Ensuring that construction projects meet building codes and regulations.
- Working closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance.
- Providing technical assistance and guidance to customers and builders.
- A good understanding of building control legislation and regulations.
- Technical aptitude, including examining, interpreting, and measuring architectural drawings and calculating floor areas.
- Excellent numeracy skills and experience with invoicing processes.
- Proficiency in software for document processing and management systems, with prior GIS system experience beneficial.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Secondary school education or equivalent, demonstrating high literacy and numeracy standards.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
- The ability to work under pressure, manage time effectively, and demonstrate good time management.
- Previous experience working in a challenging customer-facing environment.
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
