Job Title: Senior Director Sales Utilities

Job Summary:

Cyient is seeking a Senior Director Sales Utilities to manage our current and new customers in the Utilities space in Europe, specifically for the Water Utilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in selling GIS information systems, OT systems to large network-based customers and a consultative solution selling background.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate sales revenue to meet or exceed established sales goals in solutions and service sales
  • Develop and grow business opportunities in your account base working together with the delivery team and selected Cyient partners
  • Through the use of direct sales techniques, meet with assigned end-users/customers, develop relationships at various levels within a given account, set up customer meetings, and close sales to meet the revenue goals
  • Act as primary contact with specified accounts by acting as liaison for all communications to and from the account, determining the sales strategy and follow-up, and negotiating and implementing approved contracts
  • Participate in sales events such as trade shows, territory product demonstration seminars, customer-specific technical demonstrations, etc.
  • Maintain a high knowledge level of key industry drivers and major competitive players
  • Make effective use of internal resources available

Requirements:

  • Experience of selling either GIS information systems, OT systems to large network-based customers
  • Consultative solution selling background
  • Prior experience selling to Utilities or Communications will be preferred
  • Familiar with direct sales and through partners
  • Familiar with IT systems used by utilities to manage their asset base, network, and workforce
