Job Description

The role of Senior Director Sales Utilities at Cyient involves managing current and new customers in the Utilities space in Europe, specifically for the Water Utilities sector. Key responsibilities include generating sales revenue to meet or exceed established sales goals, developing and growing business opportunities, and acting as primary contact with specified accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate sales revenue to meet or exceed established sales goals in solutions and service sales
  • Develop and grow business opportunities in your account base working together with the delivery team and selected Cyient partners
  • Act as primary contact with specified accounts by acting as liaison for all communications to and from the account, determining the sales strategy and follow-up, and negotiating and implementing approved contracts
  • Participate in sales events such as trade shows, territory product demonstration seminars, customer specific technical demonstrations, etc.
  • Maintain a high knowledge level of key industry drivers and major competitive players
  • Make effective use of internal resources available

Requirements

  • Experience of selling either GIS information systems, OT systems to large network based customers
  • Consultative solution selling background
  • Prior experience selling to Utilities or Communications will be preferred
  • Familiar with direct sales and through partners
  • Familiar with IT systems used by utilities to manage their asset base, network and workforce
